I ordered from 4D Tech and ended up needing a refund. To be fair, the refund did come through, so I can’t really complain too much. Maybe it’s just me, but I was expecting the process to move a little faster or at least get clearer updates along the way. I had to check in once and then wait a few more days. Overall, not a terrible experience, just not the quickest either.

I got it installed without much trouble, and it was pretty much plug and play like they said. As someone who doesn’t consider myself super techy, that was a relief. It took me a few minutes to figure out one of the cables, but once I got past that, everything worked fine.

I had to reach out to 4dtech about this part I wasn’t totally sure would fit my truck. The person I talked to was really patient and actually seemed to know their stuff. They explained that whole fitment thing in plain words and didn’t make it more confusing than it needed to be. I also didn’t feel rushed or anything. In the end, everything got figured out and my order went through just fine. It’s nice dealing with a company that’s professional but still talks to you like a normal person.

I installed it last week it’s been solid. The maps load fast, and the directions are easy to follow. I did notice one small lag at one point, but it wasn’t a big deal and hasn’t really bothered me

I ordered the backup camera integration for my truck thinking it would be a quick weekend project. When it showed up, shipping was fine and everything looked good, so I figured I’d have it knocked out in no time. It did work in the end, and the picture quality is decent, but getting there wasn’t quite as smooth as I expected. I had to go back and recheck a couple of plugs, and I ended up watching the install video twice before everything finally clicked. Once it was all connected properly, it did what it was supposed to do. Overall, not a bad product, I just wish the instructions had been a little clearer.

I’ve been using it for a bit now, it’s been really solid. Everything worked the way I expected right out of the box, and I haven’t run into any issues so far. Based on my experience, I’d definitely say it’s a dependable product.

I recently bought the sync 3 to upgrade my 2013 Ford F150 sync 1 4.2” screen. I did think the price was steep until I received the product. The upgrade included a new environmental control 8” screen bezel OEM. OEM USB connections and insert. I followed the 4DTech video with their installer Scott and the remove and replace process took about and hour and a half. The new system works great and after using it on the road it was well worth the price for OEM parts included.

I had to make an exchange and it was handled really quickly without much hassle at all. Everything felt simple and stress-free, which left me feeling relieved and happy with the experience

The tutorial videos were actually useful, but a few of the steps still felt kind of rushed to me. I was able to follow along for the most part, but I had to pause and rewatch some parts to really get it.

It worked on the first try, which almost made me suspicious. Like, what do they know that the other products don’t? Either way, I’m not asking too many questions because it did exactly what I needed.

I ended up waiting longer than the delivery estimate they gave me. Maybe this is normal for their shipping, but I was assuming it would arrive when they said it would, so it was frustrating

The site works, but it’s way more annoying than it should be. I wasted too much time trying to find basic pages because the menus feel messy, especially on mobile. It’s not completely broken, but whoever designed the navigation clearly didn’t think much about how people actually use the site. It could be a lot easier.

I did get the tracking emails and could see where my package was, so that part was helpful. The delivery ended up being a bit late, though, and even with the updates, I kind of felt ignored when I wanted more clarity. Overall, the communication was decent, but the experience could’ve felt a lot more personal

The item itself works fine, so no major complaints there. But the box showed up dented, and one corner of the unit had a small scratch on it. I did mention the condition when reaching out, but it kind of felt like nobody actually read my message. It’s not a huge deal, just not as clean as I expected for something new.

Everything worked fine for me, no issues at all. I got the confirmation email and receipt right away, so it was all straightforward.

I had a question about getting my radio upgrade working, i assumed right away it was going to be a pain. But 4D Tech support actually knew their stuff. They didn’t just hit me with some generic copy/paste response. The guy walked me through a few quick checks, explained what each plug was for, and got everything sorted fast. I figured car electronics support would be a hassle, but this was surprisingly easy. Good support really does make a difference. I’d use them again.
